We specialize in breeding Irish Wolfadoodles Their mother is an AKC registered Irish Wolfhound and the father is an AKC registered Standard Poodle. This breed is very family friendly. They are gentle giants. This breed range in size between approx. 29-32 inches at the withers (shoulders). Shedding may vary, however they should not shed much being a doodle, they are considered low maintenance.
You may reserve a puppy by filling out our online application and placing a deposit after approval.
Yes, we provide a 6 month health guarantee. As long as you follow the contract we guarantee that our pups should be healthy for at least this long. They do not have certificate other than their vet paperwork.
We guarantee that they will have seen the vet once and received one set of shots as well as a de-wormer.
Please note that dogs naturally do get worms and some areas of the states have different types of worms that your dog may contract. Please keep up on a de-wormer of some sort.
After the pups receive their shots we do feed them food grade activated charcoal and or bentonite clay to assist in removal of heavy metals. We give it sparsely sprinkled on top of or mixed into their food.
We much prefer that you show up in person if at all possible.
We do have a few ground transport people that we use. This may take up to a week for delivery depending on where you live. The ground crew are good at walking the dogs and interacting with them on their journey.
We also fly them on either Alaska Airlines or American Airlines.
The dogs do need to travel in cargo, which is pressurized and temperature controlled. However, ground temperature may influence delivery and flight arrangements due to cold or heat. Airlines do not allow dogs to fly below 20 degrees F or above 80-85 degrees F. I have had a pup fly on passenger level with a flight nanny.
Either way they go, we cannot guarantee that they are perfectly clean when they arrive and neither the flight crew or ground crew have access to washing the dog in case of accidents. However, they arrive happy to see you and excited to get to know their knew families.
Your dog has been given Extreme Dog Fuel, puppy formula, "Elite Nutrition For Puppies & Active Dogs." We recommend the puppy formula for the pups until they are two years old. After they're full grown we suggest the "Pro-Athlete" formula due to their high metabolism.
We started feeding our dogs this brand of food last year and we are happy to say that Valkyrie's coloring has grown in black again. We thought she had gone grey due to her breed as that is normal. She also has a very high metabolism. We've noticed that she is able to remain at a healthier weight on this dog food.
Here is the link to their website: extremedogfuel.com. Please find a dealer near you for best pricing and local pickup. We highly recommend finding a dealer. If for some reason the locator on their website is not working please call them and ask to find one.
It is possible to purchase from the website if needed. Please note that they will call you to finish your order. If you do not receive a phone call your order has not been placed.
Your puppy has been fed this kibble along with raw goats milk while weaning from their mother.
We feel that nature is better than man-made where ever possible. At eight weeks old you may wish to find a similar resource of raw goats milk to supplement your pups diet to assist their transition to dry dog food.
We do our best to crate train our puppies when we know that they are traveling in a kennel home. Our children are in charge of crate training, therefore, all funds go to them for this service.
This can take weeks to do depending on the pup. Some take to it better than others. Pups will most likely require more training when they arrive home. We will make sure that they are familiar with the cage. We work on making sure that they are comfortable being in the cage as well as making it a happy place to be.
Each pup is different. The time we are able to spend on this varies due to date of pup purchase and travel date. We cannot guarantee full crate training is possible in the time they are in our care as they are very young. However, we do our best.
They will be familiar with the cage we use at home which is a large wire cage, not suitable for travel, but for everyday use, until they are too large. They will NOT have spent the night in the cage under our care.
This breed will be too long to fit in a regular cage when full grown. However, they are well mannered and well tempered. Therefore, they shouldn't be a problem outside of the cage at adulthood. Again, there are no guarantees as every pup is different.
We recommend this crate, for every day use found on Amazon: Durable, Foldable, Metal Wire Dog Crate, or something similar, while they are young. Here is a link to chewy.com for a similar crate. Please get the largest one, 48 inches.
If your dog needs to fly home we recommend this kennel + travel kit. Please get the the 36L x 25W x 27H if your pup is still 10 weeks and under otherwise you may need the larger 40x27x30.
