Leslie grew up on a farm and ranch. Josh worked on farms growing up too. Now that our kids are starting to leave the nest we decided to bring the funnest part of ranching back into our family: The Dogs!!
Our dam is a black Irish Wolfhound. This coloring is not very common in Wolfhounds. This breed tends to fade color as they get older.
Our stud who is an apricot cream, carries a phantom gene which give our pups a unique look. They are dark like their mother but the phantom gene makes their eyebrows, sides of their muzzle, under their tail, paws, and up their legs a lighter creamy and or white color. It is similar to salt and pepper or saddle back coloring of other breeds. Some of the lower expression genetic coloring of our pups have a dark red/mahogany coloring in those places against their beautiful dark fur. This coloring may start to show as soon as birth, or if they are low expression, not fully come in until they are 6 months. Each of the pups color can also fade as they age.
Valkyrie, our Dam, is a chill kind of gal. She loves to lay around and nap or snuggle on your lap. She thinks she is a lap dog. She enjoys being part of the family, is a good momma and enjoys playing with her pups. She loves going for walks. She is not intimidated by other dogs when we are out. Irish Wolfhounds were commonly bred by royalty. They are: sight hounds, bred for hunting wolves and other big game, loyal and loving towards their families, a true gentle giant, tall ranging from 30-42 " in height or more and weigh 105-160 approx. between female and males. They are lean, muscular and have a life expectancy of 8-10 years.
Banner is our awesome stud. He's been DNA tested and passed all his health checks. He is calm and loves to play. He loves being with family and to go on adventures as well as long naps in the yard and playing ball, although he doesn't like to fetch.

Standard Poodles were bred for sport, hunting birds. They were used for hunting Ducks in Germany as they are excellent water retrievers. Their coat is excellent as protection against the elements. They are: eager, athletic, exceptionally smart, remarkably versatile, excellent swimmers and retrievers. They are known for being the best all-around athletes, and are very trainable. They have a life expectancy of 10-18 years.
